My favourite things about this place is that it is safe for dogs and children in the main front garden, fenced and gated. Also set back from the road it feels safe from passing traffic of which there is very little.
The aspect is great with a south facing yard and private hedged area but in the hottest months the back door to the kitchen opens to a cool grassed terrace.

Spacious farmhouse with substantial outbuildings and 3/4 acre garden

This spacious family house is semi-detached and built in traditional Normandy style of granite and cob under a slate roof.  It offers flexible accommodation and would lend itself to use as a B&B, for a large family or for the creation of a house and gîte.  It stands at the end of a quiet no through lane and benefits from huge outbuildings, a quiet and pleasant outlook.  There are further renovation works to be carried out to two of the first floor bedrooms.  Solar panels have been added for energy efficiency.  Viewing is highly recommended.

The property is located in Manche in the Normandy region of France.  It is almost equidistant to the towns of Cerisy-la-Salle (8 km) and Hambye (5 km).  Percy is 11 km and Gavray 14 km.  Mainline train services will be found in the nearby tourist town of Villedieu-les-Poêles (20 km) or Coutances (20 km).  The nearest large town is Saint-Lô (24 km) with all amenities.  The closest airport is Caen Carpiquet (79km), Dinard Airport (166 km) slightly further afield are Rennes Airport (128 km) or Deauville Airport (141 km).  The UNESCO heritage site of Mont St Michel is 44km and the D-Day Landing Beaches (49 km).  The ferry port of Caen Ouistreham is 1 hour and 10 minutes drive and 101 km from Cherbourg.  The nearest beach is at Regneville-sur-Mer (27 km).
