The location of my property is perfect for those who love an uninterrupted view, serenity, and beautiful air. The house is thoughtfully designed, warm in winter and cool in summer, with plenty of space for a family and guests, and retains a traditional feel. Fruit trees yield delicious plums, apples, figs, and cider apples, as well as black currant, and red currant canes. There’s an organic farm in St Michel de Montjoie who deliver baskets of fresh vegetables, eggs, buckwheat flour and tasty cider, very inexpensive and friendly. Long walks are a delight and it’s also easy to drive to the coast and glorious Mont St Michel; the Normandy landing beaches and museums; Villedieu les Poêles, and the enchanted forest of Bellefontaine, a great day out for children. When friends came to visit they appreciated the opportunity for complete rest, prompting one of them to say, as he stepped outside one morning, “Another day in paradise”.
